Emeco Navy barstools at Restaurant Ma Cocotte in Paris Saint-Oue designed by Philippe Starck and Fabienne Amzalak. Inspired by the areas famous flea market - Le Puces de Saint-Ouen, Starck furnished the restaurant almost entirely with objects he found in the market stalls over the years; reclaimed old books, chunky glass vases and mismatched armchairs. “I feel comfortable here, it’s a model of the way I would like to live” Says Starck to AFP Read more here, image by Martin Bureau.
Emeco presents the World Launch of the SoSo Collection by Jean Nouvel at the 23rd Biennale Interieur 2012 in Kortrijk, Belgium. The comfortably embracing SoSo chairs and barstools are made of 80% recycled aluminum by Emeco craftsmen, using the same process Emeco employed manufacturing the famous 1006 Navy Chair in 1944. Norda Bar & Grill, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson’s new restaurant inside Clarion Hotel Post, in Gothenburg, Sweden. An impressive flagship hotel set inside the towns old postal building.
