The first Korean outlet of Dean & Deluca opened in Shinsegae department store in Seoul this fall. In close collaboration between Brands_ltd UK and Duomo& Co in Korea the 1006 Navy Chairs from Emeco were installed giving the place its perfect atmosphere. “The first store will offer premium and artisanal groceries along with an espresso bar and a deli. To stick with that New Yorker-feel we focused on that.” said Dean and DeLuca director Hwang Kyung-sun to the Korean herald.
The classic Emeco 1006 Navy Chair is often featured in films, latest seen in Steven Spielberg and Peter Jacksons motion caption tech animated production; The Adventures of Tintin from 2011.
