Emeco is happy to announce the opening of the MUSE School in California this month! The “local, global and green” school was selected for the donation of this years Emeco 2111 Prize. The 2111 No Waste Prize is an annual award given to the project taking the highest amount of waste out of the landfill, encouraging projects with an educational commitment to a sustainable world. Visit Mercedes Benz Connection Pop-Up showroom/restaurant in the chic, upscale neighborhood of Roppongi,Tokyo. Designed by Kubota Architects & Associates the space is projecting a natural, earthy habitat with pillars in abstract forms of mountains, large windows and a wall screens with images of nature.
Emeco’s Japanese partner,Royal Furniture worked with Mercedes Benz Connection to install 64 Emeco chairs in the seminar room, the coffee bar and the restaurant. “The 111 Navy Chairs has become very popular with environmentally aware customers. We are sure that the youthful business crowd in Roppongi will gather in this surprising and unique meeting place.” Says the general manager at Mercedes Benz.
