Oliva Wine & Deli in Mexico City, inspired by New York City in the 1920’s, the restaurant is now famous for their large selection of wine by the glass, their large chester sofa and perfectly matched recycled 111 Navy chairs in flint gray. Boué Arquitectos and Blend Design have created a fantastic atmosphere for the family run restaurant and bar, more images here .
111 Navy chairs at the Adeli Cafe in the iconic Monumento Revólution Mexicana in Mexico City. “Adelitas” were brave women who faught in the revolution signifying a woman of great strength and courage reflected in the cafés industrial interiors, bright colours and strong sustainable materials. www.mrm.mx/eng/
At the Monument for the Mexican revolution the interior elements were created following the same techniques as the ones employed to produce train-station furniture during the industrial period except for the use of recycled materials such as aluminium cans side by side with the 111 Navy Chairs in Persimmon Orange, using the 1940’s form and recycled PET.
